Hungerford Bridge Scaffolding Alltask

After three years of design and development in collaboration with @psdscaffdesign, we are pleased to announce the start of scaffolding works on a major project at Hungerford Bridge, right in the heart of London!

This 161-year-old bridge, a vital rail link to Charing Cross Station, is undergoing much-needed restoration, including steel strengthening, blasting, and painting of the main longitudinal girders spanning the River Thames.

Our journey began last Tuesday night as our team erected a HAKI stair access point to Girder A, Span 6, on the Southbank. Over the weekend during a 52-hour abnormal possession, we worked back-to-back shifts with over 70 men working in total over the weekend.

Not only did we achieve all our goals, but we also surpassed them! Most importantly, the work was completed safely and without incidents. A huge thanks to our incredible team who worked hard to make it happen. We have received fantastic feedback from our client, VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd.

With a construction programme of over three and a half years, we are excited to see how our works progress over the coming months.

We are proud to showcase some recent images capturing the scale and precision of the work being done!
