Jim Scott has been actively engaging with students, parents, and trainees on behalf of Alltask Limited, promoting career opportunities in scaffolding, thermal insulation, and asbestos management. His efforts reinforce Alltask’s commitment to supporting young people in their career journeys and strengthening workforce development.
Through career fairs at The Victory Academy and The Howard School, Jim reached over 1,100 students, introducing them to potential career paths and helping them make informed choices. His ongoing involvement is already making an impact, with a steady stream of candidates showing interest in Alltask Limited.
Beyond career fairs, Jim participated in mock interviews for over 200 Year 11 students at The Howard School, equipping them with essential interview experience and preparing them for their transition into employment.
Recognising the vital role of parents in career decision-making, Jim attended Brompton Academy’s Year 11 Parents’ Evening to challenge misconceptions about the construction industry and provide insights into career opportunities, helping parents better support their children’s choices.
To further support workforce development, Jim visited Alltask trainees across London, observing key projects, introducing new recruits to mentors, and discussing career progression. Alltask’s Trainee Programme cultivates leadership and skill development through structured coaching and peer mentoring.
