“I would like to say thank you to the teams that came to site to erect the scaffolding. Without their know-how and initiative, we would have been significantly behind on the programme. I noticed that the scaffolding didn’t quite look right in real life, the scaffolders straight away took the initiative (with the green light from their manager, Liam Duffy), to remove one lift from the scaffold and install the lifting beam on the lift above the basket. This allowed us to proceed with the cable pull on Tuesday and make up for lost time.”
“I was particularly impressed with Ryan Hoare and Louie Perceval on the night shift, despite being young in age they led their teams with what looked like years of experience, whilst also working safely. And on the day shifts I was particularly impressed by Billy Russell, who also despite appearing young in age, looked as if he had a wealth of experience in his field and used his initiative to modify the scaffold so it was suitable for use.”
